Stargazer Lily

Canon EOS 40D
Canon EF100 mm 2.8 Macro
Tripod
Remote release
4.0 sec. @ f32

These lilies grow too close to some tall grasses to isolate the flower with a pleasing background so I was forced to focus on the internals of the lily only. Comments/suggestions/critiques are always welcome.

Thanks
Ken

Ken,
Nice one...makes me want to get out and shoot the ones in my backyard!!
Nice DOF... looks like that lens isn't bad a F32!!
Try helicon focus on these someday. its amazing for DOF , if thats what you want.

Nice and sharp; lots of details. Very interesting colour combination. I am not sure if you had a bit more room but it seems a bit tight to me. Dave

Ken;
Lovely colors, and I agree with Dave, this would benefit from a bit more room to the right and below, if you have it. Always fun to create a pleasing image like this when the circumstances are a bit challenging.

Thanks for sharing.

I love the colors and agree the composition feels a bit too tight.
