Personally, I looking for an AF-S update of the 80-400mm. Soon I hope!

You are not the only one.

Apparently, price for the new 70-200 went up a bit - $2400 (delivery expected November).
The 18-200 will be $850.

70-200 sounds good - Will be interesting to see what price they put on it over here.
Dont know if I will upgrade my existing one - doesnt see a **** of a lot of use.

Dont know if I will upgrade my existing one - doesnt see a **** of a lot of use.

I think it's more of a big deal for the F/F Nikons, D3/X & D700.
I have the D3, and will upgrade my VRI version when it's available. Not happy with the price though.:(
