Another visitor to my mini garden set up. My own critique is the branch behind him intersecting the beak. If I moved, he would have flown. Im trying all sorts of angles, and still finding out where they will perch.

Way cool bird I'd love to see some day! Love the light, details and color. Crop is a little tight (wish for more on top) and no merge between brach and beak. Congrats!

Agree with you self-critique but the bird is excellent. I love the red color here.

Very nice visitors you got lately.
I agree with you about the branch, but the light, sharpness and exposure are great.
It's a bit tight for me, especially the top.

Good pose, exposure, and detail. Cool bird. I too have a number of shots where I sit and ponder about what to do about errant branches

Agree about the branch but since he is visiting your backyard then you could improve it, keep it up.
