Well, I've been a tad bussy these last days and I wasn't able to comment as much as I like, sorry.
Here's a shot taken at a local Zoo near my home, I am not a big fan of images taken to animals in captivity but I am not at all against it neither.
Hope you like it.
Enjoy.

Hi Ramon, I am with you on not being a fan of taking images of birds in captivity but it does give one a chance to practise.
You have got super detail here and I like the BG colours.

Not a fan of animals in captivity,
An impressive portrait with fine details.
BG is unique and gives the image that extra something.
How big a crop is it?

Lovely BG and great colours! Excellent detail in the bird as well! I would probably crop it just a bit tighter otherwise great!

When I first saw this I thought you had come over to our side of the world. We have loads where I live, but you you can rarely get close.

Hey Ramón, I didn´t know that you have this species in Argentina :-D
They are so elegant and beautifull that it is really difficult to resist the tempation to make portraits of them. I like the subtle bluish-grey balancing with th yellow BG. Details are fantastic and I only wish for a bit more room at the right. Muy buena compañero ;-)

Hi Ramon. Love the BG, sharpness and soft light! I only wish that the bill was clean, but that's being very picky! Very artistic IMO!

Ramon, great HA, it looks like he was smiling and posing for you. I especially love the BG with all the different colors of grass. Congrats

Ramon, This is a fantastic image. Love the details of the subject, the lighting and the background could not get any better. Like you, I am not the biggest fan of captive shots but you did the important thing, you disclosed it as such.

Good Shooting!

Hi Ramon, at one of our local birding spots in Pretoria, there is a resident blue crane. Infact this past weekend, he did a fly past for me, but unfortunately he flew against a very busy BG, so I wont be posting him. Amazingly sharp, with great detail. Im sure you have tried to lighten the eye as much as you can, and I would maybe take a bit off the bottom. Still, an outstanding image, and congrats.

Pretty darn nice, Ramon. I would only crop a bit at left for that space to be equal to the space above the head. Excellent details and exposure.

Ramon, this is South Africa's national bird. You portrayed this one nicely although I'm also not big on captive birds.

Beautiful bird, with nice blurred BG. Amazing how thin the neck looks in comparison to the head.
Where is this species native of?
