I hope I got the name right, the hummer that is.

The name is OK:) Usually the 2nd word in hyphenated name is with lower case letter.
White-necked...

I love the eye here, the iridescence is excellently captured,
just great bird. I would not go so tight top and bottom. Even vertical crop would be better here IMO
or the bird placed in 4th. That way a bit of noise that you have on the bird would be hard to spot too I think.
In any case I think the crisp look of the bird is great. Like it very much.

Gary, Beautiful capture here and wonderful colors. I agree with Ilija on the comp and I'm not to crazy about the perch, a little on the big side and too bright. All in all a very nice image.

Lovely iridescence, and I like the colours on him too. I can see a fair bit of noise on the wings, and I would try and lighten the eye.

Lovely species, soft light, detail, colors and BG. I am not a fan of when the perch goes behinf the bird and some NR could help her IMO.
But congratulations though. lovely image.

Beautiful bird, loved the details and the expo. wished for a better perch.. sure does need NR. still loved this Congrats....
