Good-looking bird and the rain adds to it. I wish for a better head angle and might remove the branches 'sticking out' of chest and beak.

I love the environmental feel of this one! Only wish for better HA. Congrats!

Beautiful one Harshad Bhai :), loved the rain effect and the colours, more than HA I would suggest to slightly do selective blur the branches just before the bird and on top of the bird as the focus seems to be on that.. congrats..

Harshad Bhai.. I tried some PP, cloning, sharping and croping. I am not sure about the crop but I felt there was too much space and distractions. hope its ok.

very beautiful image harshad ji... the rain adds nicely...and kiran's redo has enhanced it further...maybe a little less space to the right may add to the composition(???)

Lovely rainy mood, and a nice looking species. The clean up by Kiran has improved the esthetics of the image (although I prefer the extra space in front) but the less than ideal HA is unfortunate.

Congratulaitons!

Repost is a nice improvement. The bird is very interesting looking. The colors and raindrops are great...just wish for that better head angle. (You are not alone with your PP woes)

Great enviromental image Harshad, and the rain drops add to the image. Kirans repost works well.

I think that the color of the background makes an excellent complement to the colors of the bird. Perhaps it is my monitor, but I might lighten it up just a bit to emphasize the raindrops, which at first looked hard to see. Or maybe it is just my monitor.

I like the pruning done by Kiran, but I prefer the original comp.
The rain makes it a very special one.

What a wonderful image Harshad Bhai. The rain is such a great creator of the somber mood of the forest and the darkness which in it prevails. I kind of don't mind the OP, but I like Kiran Bhai's repost very much. Just emphasizes the bird more. It is not that hard to do if you practice a little you know? Have a go and work on your PP skills. You will find that your image optimization becomes more satisfying to you.

The image has captured the monsoon mood beautifully.
In the original post the twig above the bird seem to be sharp focus and hence can be considered as distraction.
