This was taken last July. The setting sun behind me deepened the colors in the rocks, but I was unsure whether I should do more with them. All comments appreciated.

The saturation looks good to me, actually processing all around. I like the soft light and the comp works well, if anything a touch off the left, as my eye goes down the path on the side of the tuft of yellow grasses. Which Badlands is this?

Hi Cindy, I agree with Paul on all counts.

The light did you well. I think the color look great just the way it is. And I think the flowers (Not sure of size - sunflowers or black-eyed susan) add a nice foreground touch.

I like how you got the gorge going from the LR corner into the image - good leading line. FLowers nice FG compositional anchor. I think a bit more room on top so the peak in the UL is not so cramped.

Thanks to all for your comments, and the suggestions are appreciated.

Paul, this was in Badlands National Park in South Dakota.

Very nice, Cindy. I agree with Robert that a little bit more on top wouldn't hurt. I'm also getting the feeling a slight CCW rotation might not hurt.

Beautiful colors and DOF on this one.

Hi Cindy,
All in all very well handled. I have been there so the colors look right to me and excellent advice given above on both the LH side and sky......still well done!
