Here the male osprey (I think) is bringing whats left of a trout to the nest to feed the young. I cropped from this from a horizontal and it seems just a bit to tight. What do you think?

I agree on the crop. I think you need more room to the right giving the bird more room to land.

More room on the right would be nice and make this image all the more pleaseing. Some detail work on the whites here would also add to this one. Still with the re-crop, it will be a nice one to show off to the friends.

Great pose and BG. I agree, a bit tight on the right. More importantly, the whites look borderline overexposed and have a slight blue cast. Did you process this on your regular monitor?

Captured the action here Robert - lots of impact. Agree more space would enhance the composition and whites on adult bird look a bit hot.

I got plenty of room on the horizontal version. I was just trying this crop for impact and a different look. The whites are borderline but that was not uncommon with the 1dMK2. Tough time handling whites with that camera.... I don't see a blue cast in the whites here??
