Thought that it was cute when the owls went up in my parking garage to keep the birds away :D:D:) .... they don't seem to mind much !!!!

I guess the pigeons feel well-protected or do they guard the owl? :)

Al, I have one of those exact owls. Put it out by PK's food dish outside to keep the blackbirds from eating all her food. They couldn't care less! It looks like the pigeons think this one is "mom". ;)

A few weeks back I was in a little airport in Kentucky. They had these bird sounds that are supposed to be distress signals to keep starlings and friends away. I'm quite certain it only annoyed people as it was incredibly loud. :)

Axel Some airports have raptors to guard against bird strikes and it works .... in NY they even have a remote control plane that looks like a bird ... actually works !!!

Hi folks, new here.

I use one of these to keep pigeons and gulls from pooing all over my stuff. I use a fish line to suspend him from the ceiling and two more at the bottom so that it doesn't move too much or spin on itself. The constant swaying (from the breeze) make the other birds think it's for real . They have been staying away for the last eight years now.

Dan!

Cool looking owl but unfortunately it appears he has lost his influence with these birds. Love the capture Alfred.
