Loukie:

I love the composition and exposure here. The rocks balance the bird beautifully.

The underwing detail is very nice. The only thing that jumps out at me is that the head and legs don't seem quite as sharp as the wings, yet the foreground is pretty sharp.

A very fine image.

Thanks for sharing.

Love the pose and light as well as exppsure and BG, it looks a tad soft on my monitor so some more USM would help IMO.
Congratulations!

I like the light, wing position, setting and BG and agree regarding more sharpening of body and head.

Comp. is beautiful in this image. The head does seem soft here as well. Great light!!!!!

Beautiful raptor and pose- just wish I was able to see the eyes. I agree with the other points made.

Very nice bird, great exposure and pose, nice and sharp on my monitor. It would make the already nice image better if we could see the eyes. Congrats.

One of the most beautiful Buteo species. I think this is a great shot. Wonderful wing pose, great light and perfect exposure. It would have been even better if the buzzard would look at the camera but then he would probably crash into the rocks :-)
It looks pretty sharp on my monitor. Maybe you could increase the clarity a bit (in Lightroom or ACR).

What a very magnificent looking bird!! No eyes showing hurts this one but other than that it shows so much of how beautiful he is. Please post more of this species if you have!
