One of my first attempts at BIF so I picked a large target!

Nice one Colin, nothing like an Aussie Jumbo of the sky to hone your flight skills on! :)

Angle is a little steep, though eye contact is great. Judging by the angle of the light, you did some shadows/highlights recovery on that left wing? I am guessing only.

Keep 'em coming!

I agree that the angle of light wasn't ideal and also that it was steep, nice detail, pose and colors though. I would suggest to tone down the whites on the chest and neck.
Congratulaitons.

Good-looking specimen and sharpness. I wish would fly towards you and were less high in the sky. I would try to remove the magenta cast. Keep them coming!

Thanks for the helpful comments. Yes Akos I did lift the shadow under the wing- is that acceptable? Axel, I will have a look at the magenta cast- I didn't see that by eye in my PP.

HI Colin,

I also now see the magenta cast Axel was referring to. On another note, of course it is fine to reveal details with the S/H tool. It is quite obvious to me that the S/H was applied. I am not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing but you recovered wonderful detail and I do believe that is what really matters.

Colin, I like the half banking angle, and although steep, you show the far wing nicely. Well captured.
