Damselfly (I have not yet identified the species, those little blue ones are not easy).
Kissinger Heide, near Augsburg (Germany)
EOS 40D, EF 3.5/180L, Tripod
1/160, f6.3, ISO 200
Lightroom 2:
Clarity: +43
Vibrance: +10
Sharpening Amount: 70
Standard Sharpening for Screen Export
About 90% crop
I was planing to photography flowers and at first only wanted to take the 2.8/100 with me. Good that I changed my mind and took the 3.5/180 with me, too. It would have been a lot more difficult to approach them with a 100mm lens. This would also have ment to leave the trail which I don't do in that place as it would damage a lot of endangered flowers.
I love the 3.5/180L. This is one of Canon's sharpest lenses.
Hope you like it
