Sorry but I love these guys. I recently posted a similar one but the wing position and head angle were different. I like the effect of the back lighting as I don't feel it's too strong(I hope). Let me know what you think, I'm here to learn.;) Thanks for looking All C/C appreciated.

Great looking raptor.
Love the eyes and open wings.

With the back-light you've got some nice detail on this bird, the front
look adds lots to this image, great work, like it a lot!
BTW you've got very nice series of Osprey images.

It works for me, but light it's not muy favorite although you did get excellent level of detail.
Congratulations.

I like the backlit primaries and tail, and those intense eyes add interest.

I like the stare and wing position and would sharpen the bird more and maybe a bit NR on the BG. The color of the sky has a slight cast.

Brian, a better wingspread you couldnt ask for. Great eye contact, and you have done well to expose the underwings from the backlight. Well done. I agree to maybe sharpen him a tad.

Love the backlight and the spread wing pose. I would ligthen the face and the darker areas of the underwings and maybe add a bit of contrast. And I think that those same areas could use either a contrast mask or some additional sharpening.
