Okay, I'm going to lay off of the Ospreys for a while(maybe). This was my favorite one from this past Friday and maybe of all mine yet. The sun was starting to go down but there was a lot of cloud cover so I did not get that pleasing warm light but nonetheless I was pretty happy. I also am not completely ecstatic about the head angle. Thanks for looking, All C/C appreciated.

Excelent pose, very powerfull, nice soft light although the image seems underxposed on my monitor. Comp-wise I don't think the square crop helps. I DO like the head angle and overall detail.
Congratulations!

Lovely wing position. Head is turned away just a tad. Image looks as if it could be brighter with a contrast and a Hue-Sat boost. I am fine with the near-SQ crop.

Good timing on this image, I like the outstreched wings and the nest material addition. I also like the pine cones scattered throughout the nest, very neat! Too bad about the twig extending to the tail - you can't always choose that placement but it should be an easy fix if you are into that type of image manipulation. Looks like the osprey could go a tad brighter, especially the face...with the bright sky and no EC was the image underexposed out of the camera?

Thanks to all coments.

Ramon- I don't know why but sometimes I prefer a squarish crop.

Arty- I wasn't sure if the image was too bright already for my eyes but I'm going to go back and mess with the contrast hue-sat after I watch Law and Order.:D

Daniel- the Exp. here is straight out of the camera.

O.K. here is the re post with everything taken into consideration:

Personally not a great fan of the sq frame. But loved the pose and details.. the repost looks better.
