This one was taken earlier this morning. I found a flock of snowy in a pond in Palo Alto Baylands. Fishes were in plenty and the snowy's were busy feasting on them giving me the opportunity to happily click along :) This was one of my favorite as it tossed the fish around to position it for swallowing. Here are the settings -

40D, Sigma 50-500mm @ 500mm hand held
1/3200 sec, f/7.1 Mode: Av Metering: Evaluative Exp comp: -1 ISO: 400

Applied a small s/h, saturation, selective color, noise reduction and usm. Cloned out few hot pixels on the fish. Your C&C will be appreciated.

Perfect timing, Indranil, good EXP and BG. I may sharpen the face a bit more.

Great timing, good light and BG. If it were mine I might crop it even tighter.

I like it, maybe a little bit more room at the top.

Very nice image. Nice composition and great timing. I like the original composition best, and the sharpening you did on the second image was needed. Good Shot.

I like the final repost best as well, great action, nice colors. The negative space on the left in the original was not adding anything, to my eye.

For web use the second post is better but I did like the OP.
Great timig, perfcet fish position and lively light, I would go back to the RAW file and try to tone down a TAD the whites.
Congratulations!!! Love it.

Great timing to capture the fish inbetween the beak. The whites look good to me, and your last post works well.

Excellent work Indy; almost perfect HA. I was hoping to comment yesterday, but ran out of steam bud. Sorry. Like the tighter (3rd) version very much. Thanks for sharing.
