I did several treatments to this image. I put a bi-color filter on it in Color -efex>slight orton> angled brush stroke> added the snow. I shot this while on the Plains of Six Glaciers Trail in Banff NP.

He whisks me up into his arms
And walks me through the door
The cabin lights are turned down low
A soft rug on the floor

The fireplace is roaring
And fresh flowers all in red
We touch each others faces
As we lay across the bed

He whispers how he dreams of me
And now he's brought to life
He takes my hand and draws it near
He wishes me his wife

The morning wakes a brand new day
My thoughts are filled with him
We hike off to the mountain blue
And rest along the rim

The sun is falling from the sky
It's time to head back down
We feel like we're the only ones
There's no one else around

The moonlight casts its spell on us
Our lips are joined once more
He whisks me up into his arms
And walks me through the door

Absolutely the most beautifully written poem that you have ever written IMHO. I read it over and over. Really wonderful writing. That's one lucky "man". :) .....and the picture has a spectacular treatment as well.
Thanks for sharing.

Akos, Thankyou so much. That's very kind of you. I actually wrote this after one of my customers told me how her husband had proposed to her . He bought a cabin in the Catskills and on their first night there he carried her thru the doorway w/ her eyes closed-I thought it was romantic and so I wrote this.

Wow! You have an incredible way with words Denise. It's amazing what one's mind is capable of when in the right gear. Thank you for replying. :)

Outstanding!!

Girl...find me that man!!! ;):D;) Oh boy, that was a fun read! You definitely got my heart a thumpin' with that one.

Beautiful image as well - it totally matches the mood and feel of the poem.

Very, very well done. (clearly you know a lot more than I about photoshop) I started a cabin in the woods poem months ago and it currently sits unfinished. I'll have to wait awhile before finishing it and posting it so this poem is not longer fresh in the readers minds. Otherwise, mine not look quite so good. ;-)

Eric, I doubt very much that your poem won't be a huge success. I love your writing and I look forward to seeing the finished product!! Eric, If you want to learn about photoshop the OOTB forum is the place-lots of tricks and effects shared there. Jump in we have a great group over there-all willing to help and learn from each other-plus you know I'll look out for you.

I almost forgot, thankyou for your kind comments.
