Summer is the time to go back to older, unprocessed files and try to get the processing current, a never ending battle. This was done in Santee Lakes, during Artie's San Diego IPT, last year.

Model: NIKON D3

Well seen and executed; so what's new! I love the mist over the partial sillhouettes (also like the subtle light left on the birds). The colors are sweet!!!!!

Excellent mood you have created Fabs. I really like how you left the dark band atop the image and the mist is seen rising through that. Very moody. Great colors and pose. If anything, there is a dark speck to the right and above the RHS bird, which I would remove as well as the couple of dark ones seen through the mist in that dark band at the top.
Thanks for sharing. :)

Love it! the mist, golden light, and composition in my opinion makes this a special image. Congratulations.

Very nice to see these birds in such light. A classic cormorant wing spread would have put it over the top.

Lovely warm light and colours Fabs, and I like the misty conditions. The dark band on top is a bit distracting. I would crop just below that to form a tighter comp.

Have to agree with all, super image captured here and the light through the mist/steam really makes for a dramatic image...congrats

Hi Fabs, what a beautiful image. It would work very well printed in the wrap around the frame style. I a sending this link to my underwater brother in San Diego (www.stevegouldphotography.com) and telling him to come up for air and start shooting what is in and above the water. Thanks for sharing this one.
