We use to sail on the weekends with my father, this is a remembrance.

Lovely image, Denise. Did you use an Orton effect or just a blur on the image - whatever you did, it's gorgeous.

I like the poem equally as well - they fit together very nicely and I found myself going back and forth between the two.

Memories are wonderful. I can almost feel as if I too, were out on the boat. The words fit perfectly and the image is stunning. Would not expect anything less from someone as talented as you D. :)

You have an uncanny ability to open a portal and let us into your cool experiences. I can feel the wind in my face on that boat.

The photo is a stunner and the type style adds even more. When you deliver, Denise, you deliver the whole package.

Hey Denise, agree with Lances comments...the image is a wonderful match to your words and one takes a pause when reading them. I have a tendancy to read it a few times because I like the flow...

Oh, but to have been aboard and again to raise the main with you. The jib is taught the wind is fought, as out of port we go.

Reminds me of all my days gone by under canvas.

<O:pThanks for the memories.

<O:pNice image too.

<O:pAhoy! and Aloha! ;)

Mark, Glad it brought back memories. My childhood was filled with sailing-yet I haven't sailed in years, don't even remember all those knots I learned!!! Thankyou for your kind words.
