This is beautiful, Jimmy, I love his demeanor as well as the sunlit BG and foreground. I may include some room at the bottom if you have it.

Good to see you around :)

Very good behavior capture Jim! He looks like he's about the sing an opera! I agree with adding a bit to the bottom if you can.

I can already hear 'Nessun Dorma' bellowing from his throat! what a pose! ditto some room at the bottom.

I think he is checking for rain. Nice capture of the details .

I think I just figured out what he really is doing! He is scratching his back on that pine tree.

Other then needing more room at the bottom, love the back-scratching pose (that what it looks like to me anyway). Bright BG sets off his black fur quite well.

Aside from the fact that I think Robert is correct and he is dealing with his itch, I think at the same time he is preaching to Woods! Can't you just feel the bear rubbing against the branches and needles?

Oh man , What a pose and how beautifully you have done it.
For me some more space but not the ultimate requirement.
I am enjoying this picture

Now there is a bear. It is already one of my favorite images. Love the way blacks are exposed here.

Cheers,

I'm wondering if its a baritone or a tenor? What a great catch for you!

You have captured a fabulous moment. I agree with Robert re: dark bear against light Bg. :)

I echo fabs comments exactly. Lovely behavioral shot with good detail in the blacks. I like the BG as well except for the two grass plumes on the right. I would probably tempt to clone them out, although it wil prove to be a nasty task I guess with a BG like this that is not really uniform......All in all great shot! Well done
