View Full Version : Yheme: Blur, Nutria On Speed

For this one, dupe the original, make a very loose selection around
the head, Motion blur, convert blur layer to a mask, refine head detail and
at light opacity reveal some of body. At right side, extended canvas
and made a selection of the blur to drag into the new canvas.

Dave, I think the use of the lower opacity was the key to the success of this image. It fades in nicely to the blur streaks. The Nutria w/ the single piece of duckweed is awesome!!! I do love the color tones also!!

thank you for comments friends, this was a bit different technique for me,
but very similar to the "Speed Dreamer"

thanks Roman, a few selections before blurring can be very effective

This is really fun Dave, do love the little piece of duckweed on the nose too. The blur is very effective here.
