The oof digaonal line (which is probably part of the insect) directly above and in line with the eyes competes for my attention. However, the sharpness and detail is awesome. I like it a lot. Thanks for sharing.

The OOF leg is nothing I can do about.Crane-flies are almost only tangled legs in every direction.
I kind of like the order-in-chaos feel it gives.

Thomas, that is one wild image! Great detail on this. Where was the bug located? Is he under a plant? I'm just wondering because the lighting is nice and diffused, even with flash being used.

I think compositionally I'd consider cloning out the one diagonal line on the left of the frame simply because it's not apparent that it is a leg or antenna. And, if this were mine, I'd also remove the bud behind him as it's not in focus enough to add to the story for the viewer .

It was resting on a leaf in a bush.It's the leafs surrounding the Crane-fly which makes
the light soft.
The bud you refer to is one of the wings,so it would look weird to remove it.
And I agree about the left diagonal.The antennas are the two things stuck to it's forhead
between the eyes.
