Nickerson Beach

Can anyone tell me how to find out about nickerson beach? I have heard about it but a google search doesn't yield very good results. I am interested in photographing the skimmers, or at least seeing them. Is there another name for this beach? Is there an address so I could at least do map quest? Is there a certain area of the beach I should be looking into for the skimmers?

Carole,

Check this link, coming from the loopway it's on the left side, 2nd traffic light or so. Park and go down to the beach heading to your right. There is no way you can overlook them. :)

Hey Carole,
Gate may be closed if you get there sunrise or B4.....go around (we all do)....through the exit. No one mans the fee booth at 5:30 am....go to 1st parking lot on left after admin building. go to the far right and far end of parking lot (away from concession stand)......walk up boarwalk to beach. Go about 200 yards and to the right (sometimes huge puddles here so be prepared to get wet).....you will see roped off area with the 100's of skimmers. There is a fee after a certain hour and it is quite $$$ after a certain hour but not sure what it is.
