Here is one from back in January. This is the female of the species and she is chowing down on a large moth.

Cheers!

Nice and sharp, gorgeous subject(s). I might lose the OOF branch in the upper left corner.

Good find and exposure control. First I thought she was carrying some nesting material. Another vote for losing the OOF branch in the upper left.

Super detail and colours with a great catch. The moth looks like leaves great camouflage.

Nicely framed between the two branches, with her back following the curve of the top branch. Amazing detail and colours on her, and hope she enjoyed her moth. ULC to go.

Very nice Trogon Glenn. Love the moth but the branch on top is very distracting IMO.

This is a great capture Glenn, as usual from you! I only wish that the little branch in the upper left was gone and the spider webs also. I love Trogons, and the moth is topping!:D

Love it with prey.
As stated the branch is distracting but hate to lose the spider webs.Trade off Iguess.
Your Ecuador trip yielded some nice shots.
Chas.

Awesome image. The moth looks like a bunch of fall leaf.
