Another one from my backyard. I tried cleaning up the beak, but didn't like how it turned out.

50D, 100-400 at 400
1/500, f/7.1, ISO 250

The bill is indeed messy, but it tells the story of the bird feeding away. Good head angle and perch, although I'm wishing to see more of the stem below. It feels a little light...I'm sure you could reduce the overall exposure anywhere between 1/3 to 1/2 stop. Nice BG.

An attractive perch, full of detail and colour. The beak doesnt distract, as he was feeding. I can see a few darker patches in the BG that draws my eye, especially one just to the right of the leaf on the perch.

Daniel: the exposure seems fine to me.

As Juan Aragonés suggested me a few times, I will do the same for this image, darkening the BG a little will probably make the bird pop more. Nice pose, perch, light, BG, colors and detail. Congratulations!
