Wow what a bird and what an image. The perch though a bit on the complex side works well with the bird. Techs perfect as expected. Love that tail. Do you know the range of this one?

Thanks Artie:-) Swallow-tails occur from west Africa east to Sudan and south to South Africa.

Beautiful bird, I also like pose, eye contact and perch. I might be tempted to remove the lines on the right side in the BG.

Chris....fabulous capture. But I have to say I liked the no-flash version more. The blue color in the tail is quite spectacular in that one. Plus the yellow-green colors are more distinct in that one. just my 2 cents.

BeeEaters have always amazed me with their stunning colours.

Beautiful shot !

IS this an African species ?

Great flashwork to show up the colours nicely, super pose, sharp, and stands out nicely against the darker BG.

I am not crazy about the OOF perch, but just a minor detail among such beauty. Lovely ligh,t pose, BG, detail, colors and species! Congratulations!

I guess the previously image posted without flash was not the same bird. Anyway nice to see different details and colors. This bird is more yellowish than the no flash bird. Anyway a gorgeous image and bird. Well done.

Gorgeous looking bea eater Chris! Lovely headturn and excellent colours! The perch is a bit unfortunate IMHO, but would take this in a heartbeat! Well done!
