I like the perch, sharpness, composition and BG. Beautiful specimen, too, I particularly like the raised crest. I would only desaturate the reds a few points.

Very nice! I like the composition. The bird is good looking and I think the perch is great. The details on the perch are very pleasing to me. Congratulations.

Amazing image, great light, perch, pose and detail, colors and BG are also stunning! To be really honest I wish for tad less of a head angle so the bill doesn't merge with the head. But really a minor issue.
Big congratulations Alan.

Hard bird to expose right because of the bright reds and dark back -- and this really looks good. I really like the feather deatail on this little beauty. Very nice

Lovely looking bird, and I like colours and detail on him. The BG compliments him very well.

Excellent portrait Alan! Perhaps a bit too tight in frame, but it still works for me. You nailed the reds to perfection, but the overall photograph seems a bit too warm for my personal taste (perhaps due to the fill?) so I'd cool it down just a tiny bit...

Wonderful perch, attentive pose and BG here Alan.
Nits???? maybe clone the top of the stick where you can see its broken off.

Alan...brilliant !! as they say in UK. awesome !! as we say it here. I have yet to see this bird.....what a beauty. I'd prefer more room on the top and less at the bottom. I think it will balance it better. I realise the perch is too prety and you probably dont want to crop it. just my 2 cents.

what a lovely bird! pops really nicely from the BG. I like how the perch leads your eye to the bird from the corner.
