I had never seen this before, so it was exciting. I saw the Dfly catch the prey, hover around looking for a nice perch, then eat it. The wings were blown by the wind. After it finished eating, it cleaned itself just like a cat

It's always interesting to observe these insect predators doing their thing. Nice sharpness, detail, and use of DOF. I also like the double diagonal comp of the grass blade and the damselfly. Well done.

I like the comp and the vivid colors.
It's a cruel world among the insects.

Hi Fabs, I like everything about this one...the sharpness and comp with the two blades of grass make this a great image and the prey just adds an extra punch!

Cheers!

Hi Fabs, Nice find! Like the comp with the damselfly at a diagonal. Also like how you shot this looking down at it; very different from the usual angle in these kind of shots. Superb BG too, though there's one area near the damselfly which is showing some noise.

Great colors and behavior caught Fabs. Is this your early AM foray you were telling me yesterday?

Thanks for sharing.
