Once again, the male has nibbled on the prey for his chick. Love the way the chick is hanging down, Alfred.

Excellent composition and spot on exposure!

A STK in flight is one thing but to have one so close with outstanding detail
and a meal in its beak to boot is simply amazing !! You are a skilled photographer!

I like the angle of the bird and the comp. Seems to need just a tiny bit more contrast but after seeing Fabs comments in an earlier post about their underwing color, I'm not sure on that.

Well captured Al. I honestly don't remember seeing an image as nice as this of this species before and with prey. Congrats!

The placement of the bird in the frame works well, and love the wingspread. Good job on the whites too. Well captured Al.

It sucks to be a frog! Awesome detail and sharpness, under the wing detail is excellent.

I can just imagine what a tricky exposure this was. Well handled Alfred in the difficult light.

Very nice action, I know its nearly impossible to be ready for anything but the Better Beamer would have been real nice for the shadows. I'd love to have this one in my collection. Rod

Rod, at 3200 s/s no better beamer is going to make any difference. It's 500mm plus 1.4X on a crop camera.

Nice angle of attack for the bird. Like the space on the right for the bird to fly into.
Surperb work.
