Sept. 27th- Oct. 4th-MONOCHROMATIC IMGES- For this Theme we will be exploring the use of different tones of the same color to achieve a monochromatic look.
Monochromatic colors : are all the colors (tints, tones and shades) of a single hue. Monochromatic color schemes are derived from a single base hue, and extended using its shades,tones and tints (that is, a hue modified by the addition of black, gray (black + white) and white)
Kerry Perkins has agreed to judge this week for us. His use of color has been inspiring!!

* You will be allowed to use additional colors throughout the image but the overall look should be monochromatic.
This can be done in-camera or through PP. Black and or white images will be allowed. Let's try to get creative!!:)
HOW THE CONTEST WORKS Every week a new Theme will be announced -Contestants enter their themed image by starting their thread with the word THEME, this will help the judges decide which images are intended for the contest.At the end of the week (Sunday 12:00 Noon EST) the judge will decide his/her favorites and post a result thread in this Forum. The winner will receive our wildcard vote for IOTW(Image of the Week) IT IS IMPORTANT TO CRITIQUE OTHER PEOPLES WORK AS IT WILL HELP THE JUDGES!!!:):D
*Moderators and Owners are not eligible for the contest but we appreciate their inspirations!!
*Forum Participants are eligible for the contest but they will not be put into the wildcard spot as their images are not eligible for IOTW. If a forum contributor wins the contest then no-one will get my wildcard vote.
