Probably one of my favourite images from my trip to Ireland last week.

When the clouds came around the end of the day in I decided to go a bit further regarding the use of fill-flash. I put on my better beamer to get a spotlight effect on this scene and used a slow shutterspeed to add some dynamics to the shot. Quite different from my previous post but personally I like this much better. Curious what you think...

I love the mood Jasper.

This is very creative and the use of composition (with the bird in flight in the sky) and fill flash are very well done. This is a masterpiece! Congratulations!

This is very cool, I like the dramatic look and the bird at the top. I might remove the bill without bird in the lower left and don't even mind that the wings look clipped.

Very creative indeed. This is such an absorbing scene and the dramatic lighting adds a lot!

Very unique! Love the lighting and the bird in flight. I find it hard to believe that this was created in camera. Well done!

kinda spooky, jasper. i like the symmetry between the flying bird in the bg and the star of the show!

This came out terrific. I don't know that I've seen one more creative.....that was from the camera with no other manipulations. Well done.
