Congratulations Jeni Williams
Kalahari
Hi guys,
Back after spending 2 weeks with my daughter (Awesome!!!) and managing to go for 2 nights to a Private Game Reserve. Unfortunately due to VERY thick bush only managed a few shots and NO birds!!!
Kalahari (which seems to be the name of a lot of lions relocated to Private Reserves from Namibia) was located at night with 2 females in thick bush. There were three vehicles with spotlights so we were asked not to use full flash. Major problem!! I used the pop-up on the Canon 40D with a tissue over it
I can't seem to get away from a square crop here - any advice? I'm not sure whether to crop it more on the right or leave more canvas to look into?
Can anyone give advice re camera settings for future reference?
Canon 40D
focal length: 160mm
f/4
ISO 200
