very beautiful. impressive considering it was by 400mm focal length. excellent head turn. This is what used to be called ashy wren warbler, I think.

soft texture of the belly feathers is captured nicely.

The bird is a bit centered to my taste and I would crop a bit from the right and top of the frame. The BG is outstanding and I love the nice light and the perch. Very good eye contact and pose of the bird. The out of focus leaves in th eleft are a bit distracting. Excelent processing job BTW. :-)

Very nice pose, exposure, and sharpness. I would suggest a tighter crop taking some from the right to get the bird more off center and maybe a little off the top. I would also remove the OOF plant on the left edge.

Agree with the above nits and I really like the colors especially that splash of yellow across the breast. The red eye is a standout. Might work as a vertical crop.

First off, welcome to Asad. Note to Scott: suggestions are not nits. Nit-picking is needless criticism. <smile>
Mitalbhai, Thanks for sharing this lovely bird. SH, EXP, and HA are all great. I like the idea of a crop from the right but am fine with the leaves on the left. If it were mine, I would eliminate the tall twig to the bird's right.

thanks Arthurbhai,
i've processed this image again after so many post monitoring for Post Processing technique and while processing i found that the oof horizontal branch was a bit distracting.

left OOF uppser side branch was wat the part of composition and i liked that idea to include.
Now that twig beside the bird is true a bit of distraction which i need to remove.

dont know if the feel of the image will be intact with the pose of bird in vertical mode or not.
will try and upload soon with the correction.

Hi Axel and Artie,

how bout this one ?

btw i am still looking for the terms descriptions.

SH = shadow highlight ?
EXP = exposure
nits = ??
HA = ??

please share your views on the repost

At first I thought a vertical would work, but having seen your repost, I think your OP works better, if you take a bit off the RHS. Super pose, and I like the light, detail and sharpness in this. I do find the OOF leaves on the LHS, as Juan stated, a bit distracting.

HI Mital

The OOF leaves as said and the BG IS SSSSUPER mate! :) I attached a crop suggestion. Sorry, no photoshop at work so your logo remains AWOL. :(

Cheers from Oz.

Hi Axel and Artie,

how bout this one ?

btw i am still looking for the terms descriptions.

SH = shadow highlight ? Correct
EXP = exposure Correct
nits = ?? problems, complaints, suggested improvememts, things that bother the viewer. this comes from the phrase "nit picking". A nit is a bug, I think?
HA = ?? This means "head angle".

please share your views on the repost

Beautiful bird Mital, I love the BG and the last repost!

You definately can crop this in a few ways - I like the horizontal re-crop, but feel its a tad tight. Super BG! Love the green with brown and grey colours! Super sharp and good head angle!

Mitalbhai, I prefer Akos' crop to the VERT, but would have preferred more room on our left in his version. Still hate the vertical branch--easy to lose that one.

The big problem with this image being a huge artistic success is one that no one has addressed yet (even me) is the branch below the perch branch. Without that (bad luck....) the image would be 10X more pleasing right out of the box.

thanks a lot arthur sir,
after posting i was waiting to see this second oof bottom branch comment as i felt that too but it was hard to clone (not so exactly) but it may be than more digital enhancement. so finally we have that conclusion to avoid such things.

thanks a lot

Mitalbhai, Thanmks for being so accepting. It would be a bit of work to eliminate that whole lower branch, but not that difficult.... And with such a loverly bird, it might be worth it.... And best of all, you have reached a good conclusion.

Mital Patel

Artie finally as you mentioned it was easy i worked on another image for cloning on same bird and same branch for another shot with different angle but then i realize how easy it was and this is the attachement.

gave wider look though as i really like the blank space on this one after cloning it.
