Post-Clematis

I even love the clematis blooms after they go to seed. This is one that I pulled off the vine, taped to a glass and let the outdoors light fall all around/through it. The glass (a regular drinking glass) helped to pull the blue from the sky into the BG of the image.

Canon 40D, EF 100mm f/2.8 macro (and probably a 20mm extension tube?)

Very interesting idea to put a subject inside a glass. Especially with a post seed clemantis. I have seen these in my yard as well and thought there was a lot of potential there. Very cool idea!
