Who is that bird hiding from and why !!!!! :D Did bring a big smile to my face About the only thing I would recommend is cropping the light tree from the left Still will give you a small amount of green Got lots of detail in the trees and exp on the bird is right on !!!! I do love this image Big Congrats !!!!

Thanks for the nice compliment and recommendations. He was fishing and all of a sudden spotted me. I think we both had the same expression.

Definitely a "sneak peek".....pretty clever. I like the cropping suggestion that Al has given. I think this is one of those images that would need to be larger to truly appreciate the detail in the Spoonbill.

Cool image, Gary! You may want to get rid of the bright spot just below the Spoonbill's bill. As you mentioned, there is no HOM in the image, so you could have posted it in the wild and free forum.

Gary, I would suggest even a heavier crop and place the bird in a Rule of Thirds upper left power point.

I do like the image and its well seen to catch him looking around the tree.
