While shooting the chicks a week ago this one go curious and started walking towards me. I had time to change from 10m 2 infinity to full focus. It ended up coming too close to focus and then went right by me to get to a parent.

Great close up. Very Cute. I do feel that the image is a bit skew. I also feel that you can light it up a bit. Then the Dof is a bit shallow and f8 might have been better, still well done

Allen, Great pose! Some clone circles screen left low. Sand looks like this is from PI, is it? Bob

Fixed the clones (embarrassing that I missed them) and the skew, but won't bother to post. I don't know if it needs to be lightened though.

Yes, Bob, PI. Don't know of better places to shoot right now, but I hope a wider variety of shorebirds come in soon.

Very cute image - appears a bit soft, and feel it is a bit flat. Needs a contrast boost.

This crop makes this little guy look almost tall. :) I like the head-on view and angle and would sharpen the bird more and lighten the eyes.

Here is a repost - worked on rotation, sharpness, lightening th eeyes, and getting rid of clone circles.

The repost is definitely an improvement!
