Here's one from last evening at Nickerson Beach, Long Island.
Thanks for looking and for your comments. I struggle with color casts when using my 50D, it seems as if pink light, pink sand, etc, gets pinker. Anyone else?

Grace:

Lovely feel here. Sharp, nice angle in frame, nice catchlight. Shadow adds to the feel for me.

I would only add a tiny bit of canvas at bottom.

So cute and captured well.

Great light, mood and I like that you included the shadow. Does it need a bit CW rotation? I might crop a bit off the top.

Really nice capture Grace, love the muted colours but agree with Randy that a little more canvas at the bottom would improve it even more.

Ditto to add at bottom and take off the top. Super light and cute. Like this well done

Very sweet image. It looks a bit too pink indeed.
I would add a bit more room under the bird.

Cute little guy, and love the shadow Grace. The low angle works well, and I would add a bit to the bottom.

Love the light and detail. Not sure if I like the pano format on this , but just my own taste. Still a sweet image.

Too cute :)
Great light, detail, pose, comp, exposure, colors but the comp with that shadow just made it for me! Congratulations!

incredible, nicely seen, love the look here, I would probably leave it just the way it is, more room at the bottom will take away, and force the shadow to be more center...

IMO - the shadow being a part of the composition here, needs to not make a bulls-eye centered display, which would happen if the canvas was added to thebottom.

The little guy casts a long shadow. Really like the simplicity of this one. Doesn't look too pink to me but its been a few years since I've been to the beach :)

Love the light and composition. The shooting angle is just perfect to keep the shadow in the image (one of the strongest points in this composition). The warm light and the cuteness of the subject makes this one a great image. Very, very good job

I like the saturation and colors Grace. For me the shadow is also a big plus. Well placed in the frame. :) Gorgeous and precious little life.
