I walk a path beyond the fields
Where flowers lace the sky

The cool fresh scent of mountain air
Has lifted me up high

The daylight fades, I slow my pace
I haven't got a fear

I'll camp the night and watch the flames
The sound of life is near

The dawn will break, I'll rise again
To start a brand new day

I'll breath it in and fill my soul

This has a timeless quality...The Journey, The Trek, The Adventure into the unknown. The meter has a hiking kind of cadence, so the rhythm fits the content.

The Road goes on and on. Very impressive, Denise.
