Last summer I planted a Raspberry plant in my back yard and it has grown tremendously. I really like the texture of the leaves. This picture was shot with a Canon 5D using a Canon 100 mm F2/8 macro lens. The exposure was 1/3 sec, aperture was F/32, and the ISO was 400. I used a 36 mm extension tube. No lens filter was used.

Very cool -- it looks like a topographic map! I like the side lighting and the color is nice also. I might crop some off the top -- that edge is a little bit busy...

I agree on the crop suggestion - I'd start it just below the first horizontal line so the middle of the stem is right up in the URC.

Gorgeous lighting Gordon. That is one of the best upclose leaf images I've ever seen. Seriously, it's so rich in depth and color...fantastic!

The suggestions to crop out the top really helped make this a better picture. Thanks

Look at that! Once again...it's the little things that make a really good photo great!

Lovely image; I think you should crop it down one more smidgen to eliminate the horizontal line in the upper left corner. Then all of the line would emanate from the upper right corner. Cheers, Jay

I like the original better, the texture on the top makes it interesting and it had a lot of depth there, but as far as taste go, nothing is written :)

Well done!

Another vote for the original I don't like that line coming out of the corner and feel the top part adds balance. Really nice either way you look at it !!!
