d3, 200-400mm lens , and 1.4 tc , wimberly head plus car bracket.

I have been practicing with slow shutter speed of late, high failure rate but quite pleased with this one..had to use ridiculously high iso 6400 so some colour noise in BG...

Focus seems to be on the head and horns and at 1/100 it's pretty sharp. I might try running one more low sharpening pass on those areas and leave the rest alone. I like the sense of motion but wish his rear hoofs were visible as well.

Hi Peter, I love this. The head is very sharp at 1/100 and I love the panned blur BKGR. The whites on the face look very bright and the white tail looks very blue. Assuming that the face is not over-EXP correcting both is relatively easy.

agree with Arthur on the hues...a great panning shot Peter! so sharp for 1/100. I've also got a high failure rate on these shots, hehe

I like the leap a lot. The face does look hot.
