seems like there's one in every group! Just trying to take a simple photo of some spring, but nooooooooooooo--
someone has to step into the pic....

Canon 40D
Tamron 17-50mm
32mm
1/800"
F5
ISO 640

To stay below the maximum pixel allowance, I had to save this at 65%. This was on a steep hillside, otherwise I would have liked to have gotten lower and get a bit more space on the top. Cropped the sides. Removed partial blossom overlapping an eye and one in front of a nostril.

WEll, what do you think?

I think it works very well and like it a lot !!

Lots of things make it work !! Focusing on the flowers, having the eyes clear, framing the deer with enough room for legs, exposure, placement and space given to the right !!!

You got a keeper !!! Big Congrats !!! ... how did you get so close ... neat !!!

Hey Cheryl, Agree with Alfred! This one works for me. Different perspective and handled nicely!

Cheryl, You did well with the focusing! I like the way this has a 3D effect and the flowers frame it's face beautifully.
