I am planning a trip to southern N.H. in late June and early July. My primary goal is to photography Loons. Anybody
know of any locations that they may be found this year. Or is there somebody that I could contact that may be able to help.

Thanks

Austin

Try contacting Jeff Nadler, he might be a good resource

Grady Weed is in Maine but he might be able to help, too.

Large lakes, but you often need a boat to get close. Lake Massabesic is often a good choice.

Be Carefull in NH as the Loon Patrols watch over nesting Loons and their Young and they get very upset if you approach the birds and get close.

If you can go over to Maine or Vermont there are just as many opportunities and not as many of the Loon Wardens

which part of maine as there are many many lakes up there and most have a loon family or two depending on size of lake too many to list here so do a little research on the area you will be in and then search for lakes in that area
