Sweet light, pose and BG and very sharp. Too bad that this guy is in not perfect plumage condition. I would try to made a partial levels adjustment in the eye and I am wondering if you did some additional processing job on the BG because it seems that does not match the soft light in the bee eater. If you toned down a bit the BG (I do that very frequently) you have to take care because you are facing the risk of oversaturation. Very good job with this beautiful bird :-)

Hi Juan,
Nope i did not do any extra processing on the BG. It is perfectly natural BG with out any Post Processing, apart from the common steps like levels, Brightness and contrast, Saturation.

How ever i did try some Shadow Highlight feature in CS3 to recover some details near the eye. May be that has resulted in a different light on the subject and the BG.

BTW BG here is a muddy pond which was in a shade compared to the light on the Subject.

Thanks for the comments :)

I like the angle, BG and the leaves complement the plumage well, maybe a bit oversaturated.
