I photographed this pic of Yellow billed Babbler during my trip to India. I loved everything here and my only wish was to have a wooden post instead of a cement block.
Cloned a little twig from right and poop's on one of the leaf's, cropped slightly from left for composition.

EOS 50D
100-400 @ 400mm
ISO - 400
1/800
f/6.3

I would like to know your opinion on this.
Please be straightforward as I'm here to learn :).

Thanks.

Nagesh:

The bird is very nice, with interesting pose, sharp on the eye and bill, pleasant BG.

The cloning work needs to be refined a bit, as you can see the clone marks and it has spilled over onto the leaves.

I would be tempted to consider cropping options, including converting it to a vertical.

The perch isn't ideal as you pointed out, but it does have some texture, and even the color goes well with the bird.

Thanks for sharing.

I like the pose, soft light, berries and details. Randy mentioned the clone marks, I could see this as vertical crop, too. Is the BG some kind of wall?

I love the unusual composition and soft light and BG. Just clean the cloning bleeding and you have yourself a winner!

I like the triangle formed by the bird's body and the vine. I'm not sure however, that you need quite as much space on the left. I would recommend experimenting with different crops. Your fine negative deserves the extra effort.

Real interesting image...I think that the bird's eye is beautiful. I don't mind the cement at all here.

Lovely pose, sharp with good detail. I like the inclusion of the berries, but I think cropping in from the right will work as a vertical. Great BG too.
