These cup fungi, (Plectania campylospora), were growing on a fallen log under a heavy rainforest canopy.
Canon EOS 3, Canon 100mm macro, Velvia 50, 1/125 F16, Flash x2, Tripod.

Very nice john, your fungi images are an inspiration to really keep my eyes open next time I am in the forest.
Do you target the fungi subjects specifically, I mean do you go out shooting just to shot them or do you come across them?
I would darken the gray flesh parts of the fungi somewhat, they come across as too light on my monitor.

Yes Robert, during mid autumn after good rainfall I head to the rainforest looking specifically for fungi.

Hey John, very cool fungi, and very nice details. I agree with Robert, maybe a little darking on the greys.
