I like the colour and feather detail of the bird. Ditto the PP traces that are still there even after the crop. I would try and blend/correct the one on the top branch. I do prefer the tighter crop.

Nice pose and sharpness. Agree with teh closer crop. Adding techs (camera, lens, ISO, aperture, SS etc) is a good idea to maximise feedback, Andy. The Daintree is lovely - were you with Chris Dahlberg?

I was just on a regular river cruise but the guy Ian Worcester (Sauce) does birding trips in his own boat that I plan to do. Reckons on 50 or 60 species in a 2 hour trip ! for $50 (aus).
Is Chris Dahlberg good ? can you give me his contact details ?
