Great light colours and comp. Well done on this. I see a bit of noise in the water rings
Lower angle would be great but this still is really nice well done

I like the light, details and reflection. The image needs about 1.9 degrees CCW rotation. I'm wondering if a slightly lower angle would still have made it possible to have the nice reflection.

Its a very nice reflection.
Agree with Axel on the CW rotation.

You may gone a little lower and retain some reflection, but the needed CCW rotation mentioned by Axel is of bigger concern. You could eliminate a few bright points near the base of the bill, and there are two blue smudges on the neck's reflection that could also go. Beautiful colours, sharp, and well exposed.

Thanks for the comments it's much appreciated. Kobus I'll have a look at the noise. I would have liked a lower angle however I took this shot out of the car in the Kruger Park.

Chris
I do like the reflection and I agree with Axel about the CCW rotation. Wishing for a lower angle is usually just a wish.....and it just doesn't always come true. That said.....it's a very nice Plover image.

Chris, lovely light, and well exposed. The calmer water has allowed a great reflection. Well captured.

Why is the image inverted? When I originally looked at this post, the plover was facing the left side of the screen. Now its the opposite direction. Are you guys trying to scramble my brain even more? On the thumbnail it is still facing the original direction. I know I was out to lunch, but I thought that was a figure of speech. Is this the same species as the Kildeer I see on my local golf course?

Thanks for the comments. Mark you don't see things I have just edited the image accordingly. Flip the canvas and levelled the image as per advice. I accidentally reload it on the original file on the web as I wanted to reload it in quick reply I realised my mistake.
My apologies

I only wish for a lower angle, the rest looks very nice, pose, reflection, detail, light and shapness. Congratulations!

Lovely pose and reflection. A lower angle would affect the way the reflection looks. You did well.

I like the light and reflection you got here. The ripples are a nice addition. The reddish colors of the eye ring and bill seem a little oversaturated from the ones I've seen (although I've not seen South African ones)

Super reflection Chris. Good light, and well exposed showing nice detail.
