Would suggest moving the bird back a bit in the frame Normally we want less room behind and more up front Sort of give space for the bird to look into Would help if light was more over your shoulder to illuminate the bird

Those egrets move around a lot You might wait till the bird is in clean water/good sun angel

Try including the tech info Does make a difference !!!
