This season we had a handful of Kites come to roost at the Allitgator corner of Anhinga Trail. Always really late in the day, most of them female.

Fabs:

Very nice dorsal display, HA, comp.

Good detail for this ISO.

There are a few hot pixels in the whites and along the wing edges, minimal.

The eye looks a bit odd.

Thanks for sharing!

Great flight pose, and I like the perfect head turn towards you. The eye doesn't have that classic red color of a Snail Kite.

Excellent banking angle Fabs, and love the detail from the top. I feel if you removed the catchlight in the eye, it would improve the eye. Just a thought.

Nice banking pose and I like the fanned tail as well. I am inclined to say this is a older juvenile male.
