Hi everybody, as I told you in my last post I am now working exclusively with these birds, they are preety common over here, but I have never seen really nice images of them so I decided I would give it a try and see what I can get, so far I am very happy, as I got this guy under the rain ant today I placed a dead snake I found on the road in the perch, and this is the result :) I will be working with this guy probably all week so I hope not to bore you :o. Comments and critiques are welcome and apreciated!

The snake was exactly a road kill Peter, I was in my chair blind, this guy is not use to me... yet ;)

Lovely and a great job by the bird of holding the snake in the perfect position. Also love the BKGR but for the single gray octagon in the u-r-c. You might consider putting your blind chair on top of your car....

Ramon:

Agree with Peter and Artie:
Nice to get that perfect head angle on the snake. :)

Perhaps a touch more room to the left. Look forward to more in this series!

Cheers

Randy

Artie, thaks for your comment, the season here os auttum, and the BG is a tree loosing his leaves, so those little light/dark spots vary with the wind so sadly there's not much I can do :) althought I do agree with you and I actuaslly would like to get higher, I can't. I also couldn't agree more with you on how the Chimango is holding the snake, I did thank him, he also got what he wanted ;)

It gets better all the time. Would it take a "plastic/rubber" snake work as a lure I wonder and may try it someday!! For me it is a little tight. As mentioned above if it is your hide then move it up some for a better angle.

Ramon, stunning light, sharp, and showing excellent feather detail. Your comp works well with the snake dangling down through the image. The BG colours in this are simply amazing. Looking forward to more of your student.

Hmm....exquisite, all has been said. Would have liked slightly more space on behind the tail?
