Here's a technique I learned from someone on this forum. The general idea is to use a portable lamp to light a seascape image early morning. One uses the strobe to flash back and forth while your camera is set on bulb. It takes several attempts to get the idea. I like the wispy look even with the overexposures.

Canon EOS- 1D, Sigma 15- 30 mm EX DX zoom lens and tripod.

Enjoy....

Hi Charles,
I like the way the immediate FG is lit but am debating the brighter line. I find the contrast somewhat appealing though and while it may not "fit" as a regular/standard landscape......I find the interpretation very abastact and appealing. May not work for everyone....but works for me!

Roman,

It's definitely meant to be seen as an abstract. Many people may not like this kind of imagery.

Thanks for your input....

Denise,

Thanks for the kind comments. The colors are very bold in my Epson print also. As I said its not everyone's cup of tea...

It works for me too, very soft mood and appeal.
I'll definitely like to try that next year when we come up :)
